Brett's Fish Farm Payment and Warranty Guarantee Policy

    It has been the policy of Brett's Fish Farm to develop business relationships with its customers over the years. The nature of the fish business is such that a degree of trust must exist between producer and retailer or producer and customer. To foster this relationship Brett's Fish Farm does things a bit differently than others.

    Shipping is done counter to counter on Southwest, Delta or Comair Airlines. There will be a box charge of $10 per box as well as an airport delivery charge of $25 per customer. The customer will pay for freight when picking up at the cargo dock at their airport. Problems with the shipment must be reported at the time of pickup.

     The first order to a new account will be as follows; Fish will be shipped freight collect and Net 3 Days. I expect the fish to arrive in good order and the customer to be satisfied prior to rendering payment. Once these conditions have been met I expect payment to be postmarked no later than three days after fish arrival. Late or non-payment does not foster a strong, trusting business relationship and such customers will have to find another supplier. Brett's Fish Farm will take any and all measures necessary to recover unpaid balances including but not limited to law enforcement, debt collection companies, or personal visit.

     Once a business relationship exists Brett's Fish Farm is open to discussing other payment options.

     Brett's Fish Farm unconditionally warrants its fish to arrive in good condition and for 48 hours after arrival. After the first 48 hours Brett's Fish Farm continues to warranty its fish conditionally.

     If there is a problem upon arrival I expect to hear about it immediately. If problems develop afterwards, I expect to hear about them soon enough to do something about it. My customers can contact me anytime for assistance with their fish, whether the issues are related to recent shipments or not.

     Brett's Fish Farm reserves the right to back its warranty as it sees fit. The warranty is not limited to replacement or refund as each situation might require a different approach. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis and in a manner that will be equitable to all parties involved.
