These are all one year old koi (tosai). The showas in these photos are genuine Dainichi, brought to Texas straight from Niigata Prefecture, Japan by my friend Shigeru Mano, VP of Dianichi Yorijyo.

These showas are considerably larger in size than the other Dainichi tosai I bought and were hand picked by Shigeru to be the best and fastest growing of his one year old showas. Most of these are around ten inches long, about four or five inches longer than similarly aged koi. Take this opportunity to view and consider owning the pinnacle of koi, Dainichi.
